Hello and welcome! I’m Maureen, a master-level therapist and graduate from Barry University with a Master’s in Social Work. I’m here to support you as you navigate your journey of healing and growth. I’ve seen firsthand how therapy can be life-changing, and I’m passionate about offering the kind of care that helps you transform, no matter where you’re starting from. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you as you work through challenges and build the life you deserve.

I know that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but I want you to know that you’re not alone. I’m here to support you with empathy and understanding, creating a space where you can truly be yourself—no matter what you’re facing. Our past experiences do shape us, but they don’t have to define us. With the right support, healing is possible. Together, we’ll explore your experiences in a safe, nonjudgmental space, where you can start healing and move toward the future you deserve.

As a married woman of Caribbean heritage, I deeply connect with adults, couples, families, immigrants, and those breaking generational cycles. I understand the challenges that come with navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I also have a special focus on working with adults and couples who’ve experienced trauma related to their spiritual journeys. Being fluent in Spanish allows me to build meaningful connections with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that language is never a barrier to your healing process.

I’m committed to offering care that’s tailored to your unique needs because I know that everyone’s journey is different. That’s why I draw from a variety of approaches—such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Principles, and Attachment Theory—to create a plan that fits where you’re at and what resonates with you.

I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, but I want you to know you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to support you every step of the way, helping you work through the challenges from your past and present, and guiding you toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are. You have the power to heal, and I’m honored to be a part of that journey with you.
